OCEANIC HUMANITY
Installation
Oceanic Humanity is a site-specific light installation created for One Ocean Foundation for the preservation of the oceans and marine biodiversity.
Composed of three luminous cubes, the work displays fluid images that blend human X-rays with microphotographs of plankton—two distant worlds brought together into a unified, symbolic visual language.

This fusion gives rise to hybrid forms that reflect the fragility of the human body and the intricate complexity of marine life. The installation invites viewers to reflect on the deep, structural connection between humans and the ocean as a shared biological and rhythmic origin.
Oceanic Humanity serves as a tool for awareness. In the context of the Anthropocene, where human activity increasingly disrupts natural systems, the work underscores how the health of the ocean is inseparable from our own survival. Immersive and contemplative, it becomes a space to sense the subtle, vital resonance of a submerged and still-living world.
